EP Launch Reflections

There was great music, there was drama, there was drinking, there was helium balloons, there were people dressed like dolls, there was lolly bags and there was great times had by all!! Yes... I'm talking about the Launch of my debut EP 'The Escape Plan' on Feb 10th @ JIVE. I couldn't have asked for a better night really, especially since I'd had  basically lost my voice with sickness for the days leading up to the launch and then miraculously it returned in full form around lunchtime on Saturday - JUST IN TIME!

I was overwhelmed with the support on the night, with around 150 lovely people rocking up and being merry, it was great to see. Cookie Baker was first up with her infectious voice and then the amazingly understated Nadjeska pulled out some jazz/pop numbers that blew everyone away... Then of course, I hit the stage with my 6 piece band and the room was simply buzzing from where I was standing! So I'd like to thank everyone who came along to support me and made it such a great night... especially the ones who got and up danced!
